Here’s my fourth part on how GenAI can help ABM-ers. Today, I want to explore how it can help us with the perennial problem of being asked to scale strategic ABM across more accounts without additional people or budget.

How can GenAI help to scale strategic ABM across more accounts?

Here are some potential applications.

  • Predictive Analytics: GenAI models can analyse historical data from your strategic accounts and identify patterns and trends. This information can be used to predict future behaviour, anticipate needs, and determine the most effective marketing strategies for each account. By leveraging predictive analytics, you can optimise your ABM efforts and allocate resources more efficiently.
  • Content Generation: GenAI models, such as language models, can be used to automatically generate personalised content for each strategic account. This content can include blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and other marketing materials. By tailoring the content to the specific needs and interests of each account, you can effectively engage with multiple accounts at scale.
  • Email Campaigns: GenAI can assist in creating customised email campaigns for strategic accounts. It can help generate personalised subject lines, email body content, and even recommendations for call-to-action (CTA) buttons. By automating this process, you can ensure that each account receives relevant and targeted messages, improving engagement.
  • Social Media Marketing: GenAI can be employed to generate social media posts and advertisements for strategic accounts. By analysing account-specific data, industry trends, and customer preferences, the AI model can create compelling content that resonates with each target account and individual. This approach enables you to maintain a consistent presence across multiple social media platforms while delivering tailored messages.
  • Account-Specific Landing Pages: GenAI can assist in developing personalised landing pages for each strategic account. These pages can dynamically showcase relevant information, such as case studies, testimonials, and product/service offerings specific to the account’s needs. By automating the creation of landing pages, you can efficiently scale your ABM efforts and deliver a personalised experience to each account.

It’s important to note that while GenAI can significantly enhance the scalability and personalisation of ABM for strategic accounts, human oversight and domain expertise are still crucial. Regularly evaluating and fine-tuning AI-generated content is essential to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with your overall ABM objectives.

In my fifth post on this subject tomorrow, I’ll be looking at the risks associated with using GenAI in ABM.
